JAPIRO - LIVE YOUR LIFE 08'
JAPIRO - SWAGGER LIKE PIRO
What is this new obsession with Swagga? Swagga has been around for some time now. Swagga was around before anybody knew what Swagga was. Swagga has been around since B.C.; as a matter of fact Swagga was C. Jesus Christ had Swagga!! Michael Jackson had Swagga before he messed his face up. Jay Z has Swagga. Anybody can have Swagga. Swagga is a universal thing.
In my opinion Swagga is Confidence. Swagga to me is that man that can wear jeans and a fresh white-T with some good smelling cologne. He doesn’t need flashy jewelry, lots of money or a fancy car, it’s all in the way he carries himself. On the other hand, Swagga can also be that man with the flashy car, designer clothes and jewelry; he knows he's the ‘ish and he doesn’t brag or boast about it…He just has that unassuming confidence.
Swagga is not trying so hard to be something that you are not.
Be Yourself. Be Swaggarific!

I don't have a date for this yet..................But trust me, when I do recieve what the date is going to be. This party is going to be sea sick!!!!
After listening to Mood Muzik Parts 2 & 3 I will definately have to copp this joint. I expect nothing less than Lyrical Excellence. Expect this mixtape to hit sometime in October. Here’s the cover for Halfway House, Joe’s 14 track prequel to the now delayed Padded Room. This will be available through Amalgam Digital. Sincerely Yours,

JAPIRO & RAY VIC PERFORMING AT THE BELVEDERE LOUNGE SUITE TONIGHT!!!
Tonight, you're basically getting two shows in one, JAPIRO & RAY VIC NUFF SAID!!!I dont give 2 or 3 fuck's if I hear a someone's album before it drops. If it's dope I'm still going to cop it. Until CD Depot, Best Buy, and Target (etc) stop selling cd's I'm going to make sure I still buy the physical cd. Niggas spend countless hours with ideas, concepts, and in studio time to make shit for the consumer. Then, people who are strictly downloaders or bootleggers never have official copies. Now, I can admit I don't bring my official cd's out the house anymore because I do not want to have to restore my collection of classic albums that I've bought more than twice such as Reasonable Doubt, Trap Muzik, Only Built For Cuban Linx, The Chronic, Life After Death and All Eyes On Me. Plus, the last two cd's mentioned are double discs. What the fuck I look like buying these $25 albums again. Fuck that, the point I'm trying to make is the artist doesn't eat off of your cd purchase. The Artist sees about 15-25 cents for every cd bought if they do not have a lot points for each sale per cd. For an artist going the independant route can either win big or get dropped because of the constant downloading.
Now, understand why I don't care about getting a Major Label Deal. It cost me $4.73 per cd the last go round for the 1st 50 cd's to test out Pizzlematic. Now if I get one-thousand units they only cost $1 per cd. Then, you still have to get a designer and hope all of the artwork fits the printing guidelines and parameters. As well as the audio needs to match the all the order displayed on the covers and inserts. Remember, you are the middle man supplying like 3 people. At that point that's when I said fuck it! If I buy every cd myself it costs 20 cents per disc, 20 cents per cd printed with my own thermal printer, and 20 cents per jewel case. So, it costs me 60 cents to do that per cd and if I want covers it may cost me a dollar per cd. This is better than selling weight! So, you mean to tell me I can sell 1 cd for $5 and make $4 back and at $10 make $9 back. Nicca, I'm in business. Even when I sell a cd @ $2 I'm still doing better than most rappers on labels. So, the game has changed and I guess I had to learn from countless years of not cutting out the middle man and others. Not to mention, I have digital distribution too. So, there's enough out here for us all to get!

HUMP DAY HAPPINESS @ Robert Oliver's Today!!!
"I’m not a rapper first and foremost. I’m the birth of hip-pop. I’m an innovator and everything that I do is fresh. When you have something so new and fresh in your hands, you’re supposed to know what to do with it. By signing with a label, I signed knowing that everyone was on the same page as me and understanding what was going on. But that wasn’t what I thought it was." Lil' Mama- I was giving this chick soooooooooooooo much credit after she went in on "A-Milli" for more than 5 minutes. After I saw this shit, I take back everything about Miss I spit that dat doo, doo, doo, da, da. The little girl beside her has a reason to be dressed like she's in Candyland...But, Lil' Mama, your more "Geeked Up" than Gucci Maine right now....GUCCI!!! THE NEW HIP-HOP ALLIANCE IN BALTIMORE
(Japiro, Q.P., Keyaira Chanel, Eddie Numbers & Ray-Vic)
Wanye had no clue that Jay-Z was giving him the GREEN light to accumulate work and move the same direction as he once did and still is. Mr. Carter is probably one of my favorite songs on the Carter 3 because it's pre-Maybach music. Jay-Z works that track more like Wanye would have on "The Carter 2" or DJ Drama's "Dedication" series. "That line right there was hard! Unbelievable. I didn’t even realize it at first. My homie had to tell me “You know what he said, right?” I didn’t even get it. I was like, “Why is he saying ‘air’? Is he just talking about the air?” But I’m smart enough to know that he’s smart enough not to just be talking about the air. I felt real dumb, but then I felt so good. It was an incredible compliment." Lil' Wayne -
REV. AL GREEN IS BAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa Van Allen explains how R. Kelly lured her in as an underage girl:
"He started with a kiss, and from there we leaned back, and I just didn’t stop him. I was kind of worried that he wouldn’t want to see me again after that, but I wasn’t worried about the actual act at that time because I was just honored that he picked me. Being a young girl, I was like, "Wow." I wasn’t thinking as a woman would. Now that I’m older, things are different. I would never go that route today. As a child, you don’t make all the right decisions. That’s why young girls shouldn’t be involved with grown men."
I really went off today on my blogg today, I really thought the A-Milli track was on for a second... Fuck it, I've gotten so many requests to hear my version again...Check it out JAPIRO - A -MILLI AGAIN one of my best FREESTYLES TO DATE.
Til next time, we get it in! E-Watts hold ya head homie. "I PUT ON FOR MY CITY" MIXTAPE COMING SOON feat. Keyaira Chanel, Ray Vic, Q.P., Eddie Numbers & Japiro
LOOK OUT FOR "FROM THE VADEO TO THE VALLEY" FROM EDDIE NUMBERS feat. JAPIRO

Release Day Tuesday's 6/24/08 Edition

NEW MUSIC FROM Q.P. TODAY CHECK OUT......"WATCH THEY MOUTH" & "REVOLVING DOOR" PRODUCED BY: JAPIRO BELOW:
STAND OUT Style Warz PERFORMANCES:
Japiro (M.E.P.) - OUR WINNER!!! I appreciate the fact that so many people looked at him as a non issue and he played it cool until it was his turn. He was explosive, plus he wasn't even on NO drug and gun talk!!! He won and he delivered lines like, "He's going to hold his sisters down"....I loved that!! We sooooo need MCs like him to balance all of the negativity and misogyny the is characteristic of modern hip hop. I look forward to seeing him come back and do his thing next month.
